Star Wars is a big deal. They charge a lot to be associated with their brand. So when Argos arranged to launch an exclusive LightSaber, I helped them make the most of it with a social activation campaign.
The launch of the UK’s first Lightsaber Training Academy was designed to capture the minds of young and old Star Wars fans.
Invitation to the Academy happened as soon as a customer purchased an Episode 7 Lightsaber via Argos. They were then offered access to basic training by a Jedi Master to show them how to master their new weapon. On completion of this training, they received an e-certificate confirming their newfound skills.
